Julianne Hinchey is a dedicated professional. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in history and earned her Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law. Julianne has earned a reputation as a hard-hitting and compassionate attorney, handling of a variety of challenging criminal cases, including many serious misdemeanor and felony matters, as well as serious personal injury claims.

 

Julianne began her career prosecuting criminal cases for the City of Columbia Falls and handling a variety of personal injury and employment litigation matters. After that, she decided to open her practice and was appointed by Flathead County as a young lawyer to handle two full public defense contracts. Since then, Julianne has engaged in private practice and takes pride in fighting for justice for accused persons. Julianne has also handled many serious personal injury and wrongful death matters with excellent results.

Sean Hinchey graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1992 and Magna Cum Laude from Gonzaga University of Law in 1995. Over the last twenty-eight years in practice, he has dedicated himself to handling personal injury and criminal defense matters exclusively. Sean takes pride in his zealous and effective representation of those harmed by the wrongdoing of others. He is also proud to vigorously defend those accused of criminal conduct, ranging from DUI offenses to the most severe criminal charges. Either before trial or through trial, Sean will obtain the best results for you.

 

In January 2003, Sean opened Hinchey & Hinchey, P.C., with his wife, Julianne. Sean continues to focus on trial practice, emphasizing personal injury and insurance litigation as well as criminal defense.

John Hinchey is a Montana native who practices criminal defense and personal injury law. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Montana State University Honors College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and earned his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2025 as a second-generation Gonzaga graduate.


During law school, John interned with a Spokane criminal defense and personal injury firm, where he gained valuable experience representing clients facing serious criminal charges and significant personal injury claims. He is committed to providing practical, results-oriented representation, emphasizing thorough preparation, clear communication, and realistic guidance throughout every stage of a case.

 

John joined Hinchey & Hinchey, P.C. in September 2025. His practice focuses exclusively on criminal defense and personal injury matters.


Outside the office, John enjoys fly fishing, playing pool, and backpacking in Glacier National Park.
